The Naloxone Direct Program is funded through Wisconsin’s share of the State Opioid Response Grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

We provide naloxone in Grant and Iowa Counties.

Outside of Grant and Iowa counties, go to https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/opioids/safer-use.htm to search for locations near you and learn more.

Prescription Opioid Overdose information

Many prescription pain medications are opioids. Consult with your physician or pharmacist if in doubt about your pain medication.

Taking more opioid medication than prescribed, combining them with alcohol and other medications or illicit drugs can result in a life-threatening overdose. If you have asthma, sleep apnea, or reduced kidney function you may have a higher risk for opioid overdose.

Unified Community Services is a Naloxone Direct provider for Grant and Iowa Counties through the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. Naloxone is used to reverse an opioid overdose and can save lives.

We provide Naloxone Nasal Spray free of charge.
